A fantastic position has arisen for a finalist or newly qualified
Patent Attorney in chemical engineering/chemistry to be based in the Midlands office of this modern firm. There has been significant expansion across the firm's multiple locations of late, warranting the need for a new starter that is able to deliver impeccable service tailored to their client's specific needs.
The rolling hills of the Peak District offer a fantastic
backdrop for a qualified Patent Attorney in mechanical engineering, or
potentially a chemist with mechanical patent drafting experience. As there is a
great deal of autonomy in this role experience is essential and the ideal
candidate will have circa 4 years’ in the industry. You will be working for a relatively small firm with considerable expansion plans and enjoy a huge variety of work across technologies originating from a myriad of company sizes and structures. The firm has a considerable volume of work so you will be active from day one but will also be given autonomy to build your own portfolio as you see fit.

direct clients overseas, as well as receiving and giving instruction via
foreign agents. Develop and implement drafting and prosecution strategies both
in the UK and Europe, as well as identifying possible areas for innovation.
Build the future business of the firm and grow your own practice through
sourcing and attending networking opportunities. Partner support will help a
successful integration into the firm, as well as highly capable clerical and
administrative employees and a bespoke case management system
