A firm in London is looking to recruit an additional member into their small yet highly successful Electronics and Engineering team. The work is incredibly diverse and will allow the new recruit to work closely with both pioneering newcomers and well known leaders from across a wide range of industries. The firm is known for fostering close working relationships with clients which span over many decades, as well as always looking to add new and innovative technologies to their impressive portfolio. There is an interesting international focus to the firm’s practice, with many of their most loyal clients originating in Asia and the US, as well as plenty of local SMEs, sole inventors, academia and tech transfers to keep you busy.
A healthy work life balance is at the root of the firm's ethos and all attorneys are encouraged to be the drivers of their own career. The working environment is friendly and collaborative, and the training scheme is tailored to each new recruit ensuring that all trainees have a say in the direction in which their studies take. Each attorney has the freedom to spend their own budget how they see fit (within reason), whether it be international travel to meet prospective clients, attending conferences or planning and managing educational seminars and promotional events.
Ideal candidates will have an academic background associated with electronics or engineering (mechanical, general, chemical etc.), however trainee patent attorneys who have studied in other areas but are now working with the relevant subject matter may also be considered. Candidates must have experience working in an IP firm, with around 6 month’s experience up to those with a few years’ PQE.
The firm is open to international applicants provided you have a suitable academic background and have experience working in a similar role overseas.
